We need the numbers to make anything happen - if something as simple as cutting and pasting a letter cannot generate more than 20 participants when priority dates have become Unavailable again atleast for EB3I - I dont expect anything anymore to happen in the future. JUST BEING REALISTIC!!!

speaking for myself, i have tried to remain active, but suddenly got swamped with a huge work-load.
in this economy, performance is a matter of survival. Not to say that we should accept immigration to be a luxury.
It is a pity i had to miss the donor's telecon last week, simply as i was still working.
So bottom line: there are still people who are willing to participate and active, but it is a matter of immediate priorities.
Let us keep up the spirit and keep working....

EB2 India will move very fast till 01 JAN 06 as because based on June 2007 bulletin, just before the july fiasco,( http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_3236.html ) the PD for China is 01 JAN 06. That means in EB2 Category except India and China every other country is current. So till India reaches 01 JAN 06 PD in EB2, all the spill overs will be moved to EB2 India. By the time India EB2 reaches 01 JAN 06, China PD in EB2 will move further from 01 JAN 06 by using its 7% quota. So Inidia PD for EB2 again moves fast till that changed China PD using the spill overs. After that India and China will share the spill overs based on the PD priority. All this happens if and only if the USCIS works effectively and uses all the available visa numbers for the present fiscal year. My prediction for EB2 India PD is it touch 2005 /even cross few months in 2005 by the end of this year if USCIS works effectively.

I received a soft lud on my H1B approved in Nov 2007. All other cases do not have any LUD. I guess it is just the system touching these records as routine maintainence.

and how are you so sure that all EADs that will be entering the market are freshers. My wife (now on H4) already has 4 years exp in UK (psychology) before coming to US. I know a lot of H4s who have 7+ yrs exp (may not be very recent as they couldn't work on H4). So most of them may not be freshers but yes, competition is always healthy.

I have seen such cases countless times in past few years and yes they will be in future without exception. However, matter of fact, these fresh EAD (previous H4) don't get the dream job in first attempt, it takes good 2 year to find a similar job that H1b hitech worker does.
But thats the realty of market, every year new jobs are added and every year new job seekers join the crowd.
On the otherside, a hitech worker is suppose to always learning something new and getting his/her position more stronger everyday, its a knowledge market, whoever knows more gets better $$. With my 7yr US exp and total 10 yrs CS exp I have no scare that any single fresh EAD will come close to me. A senior is always a senior no matter which field you talk.

I hope too, school districts hire teachers between june-sept and judging by the speed last years quota was gobbled up, I can hardly hope to get a job as a teacher 10 months in advance...

While we work on bills, is there anything that can be done without a bill but from some kind of an order from the President's office or the Head of USCIS. Getting a bill thru congress in this climate seems next to impossible ( If we could just counter the -ve bills/amendments that would be significant).
What I am trying to say is there something somewhere that can be done with just one office making the decision then we can all make a concentrated effort towards that one office as we do have a few Legal immigration friendly people at every office.
Any ideas????

And I know people who came to US in 2006. Got 2001 EB2 Labor and are now worknig on EAD. Whenever I see this guy my heart screams to choke DOL.
FYI.
I used sub with later priority date and EB3 instead of EB2 after waiting for 6 and half years for my own LC. I still do not know what happened to the original LC.
Does this look like a fraud to you ?

I understand you don’t care about the United States and its people and you’re only interested in what you can gain from them but if you weren’t so blinded by greed you’d see this is something else they can give to you. Now I know why I took the route I did, I would have accomplished far less in my personal life with the likes of you. In fact, I may doing to much sharing my expertise with you. I refuse to have my name tarnished any further. Besides, you’re only a beginner. What was I thinking? IV really ought to make it clear to everyone that this is an amateur site. Maybe by changing its name to Beginning Immigration. IV definitely is not the voice of Immigration – my voice is different from IVs and I’m dealing with immigration. I may have to contact the internet higher-ups about this farse.
