Marco Simoncelli Crash In Sepang


Italian MotoGP rider Marco Simoncelli was killed on the second lap Malaysian Grand Prix on Sunday in an accident involving Valentino Rossi and Colin Edwards.




Italy 24 years, racing for Team San Carlo Honda Gresini, was in fourth place after the first lap race at the Sepang International circuit. Edwards bike slammed into Simoncelli and bike hard, ripped the helmet, while the second fell to the side of Rossi, pushing it off course and into the grass.

Rossi can stay on the bike and return slowly to the pits, but Edwards fell before getting up and stumbled away.

Simoncelli remained prone on the track.

Immediately stop the race when he was removed by ambulance to a medical facility that path. With the whole paddock subordinated to the seriousness of the accident, abandoned the race organizers, and half an hour later it was announced that Simoncelli has succumbed to his wounds.

Edwards has suffered a dislocated shoulder, while Rossi, a good friend Simoncelli, has been injured.
